1. What this policy covers
This Shipment Policy describes pickup scheduling, handover, inspection at the door, documentation, and responsibilities relating to the movement of items from you to V-Recycling or its authorised logistics and recycling partners within India.
2. Nature of service
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, the service is doorstep pickup in serviceable pincodes. “Doorstep” means the agreed floor/entrance accessible without unreasonable risk, subject to building/society rules you are responsible for arranging.
3. Scheduling and windows
- Pickup is offered in time windows (e.g., morning / afternoon / evening) rather than a minute-exact appointment, unless a premium slot is expressly purchased where available.
- You will receive reminders by SMS or WhatsApp where opted in. Keep the registered phone reachable on pickup day.
- If you need to reschedule, use the app/website before the cancellation cut-off described in the Cancellation Policy, or contact support.
4. Packaging and readiness
Unless the offer explicitly includes professional packing, you should keep the item unplugged, empty of personal contents (e.g., clothes in a washing machine), and reasonably accessible.
For computing devices, follow data-wipe guidance in our resources; V-Recycling is not responsible for data left on devices.
5. Inspection and chain-of-custody
Authorised personnel may photograph the item, record serial numbers where visible, and confirm condition against your declaration. If variance affects price, you may accept a revised quote or decline pickup for that item.
Once handed over, title and risk for the item pass as set out in the Terms of Use and your order confirmation.
6. Documentation and compliance
Where e-waste or battery rules require forms, manifests, or ID checks, you agree to provide truthful information and sign or complete digital acknowledgements presented at pickup.
GST invoices or settlement advice for payouts (if applicable) will be made available according to the product flow and tax rules in effect at the time.
7. Prohibited or unsafe items
We do not collect items that are illegal to possess or transport, severely leaking hazardous materials, or presenting acute safety risk. Field teams may refuse collection; repeated misuse may lead to account restrictions.
8. Loss or damage in transit
After handover to V-Recycling or its partner, reasonable care applies in transit to the next processing hub. If you believe loss or damage occurred attributable to our network, contact care@v-recycling.in within seven (7) days with your order ID and photos; we will investigate per internal procedures.
