1. Acceptance
By accessing or using V-Recycling, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) and capable of entering into a binding contract, or you are supervised by a parent or guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Services description
V-Recycling provides an online platform to obtain indicative quotes, book reverse-logistics pickup for eligible items, and receive payouts subject to inspection and validation. Final payout amounts may differ from indicative quotes where condition or scope differs at pickup.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of OTPs, session tokens, and device security. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
You agree to provide accurate information; false declarations may lead to order refusal, price adjustment, or account suspension.
4. Quotes, fees, and taxes
Quotes shown on the platform are estimates based on the information you provide. Final settlement is based on inspection, applicable promotions, and law.
Unless otherwise stated, standard consumer pickup is not charged a separate pickup fee in serviceable areas; any exceptions will be shown before you confirm.
You are responsible for any taxes or statutory deductions applicable to payouts as per Indian law.
5. Title and risk
Upon successful handover and completion of required checks, ownership of the item may transfer to V-Recycling or its designated entity as stated in your order confirmation. Risk of loss for damage before handover remains with you.
6. Prohibited conduct
- No unlawful, harassing, or fraudulent activity.
- No interference with the platform, scraping beyond permitted use, or attempts to circumvent technical limits.
- No submission of malware, illegal goods, or stolen property.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the platform (logos, text, graphics, software) is owned by V-Recycling or its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable licence to access the content for personal, non-commercial use in connection with the services.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
9. Limitation of liability
Subject to applicable law, V-Recycling’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the services for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the payout amount actually paid to you for the specific order giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 5,000, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless V-Recycling and its officers, employees, and partners from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, or your violation of law—except to the extent caused by V-Recycling’s wilful misconduct.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction that cannot be waived.
12. General
- If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect.
- Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign as part of a merger or sale of business.
